William R. Levinson
I was Born in Toronto Canada, October 22, 1944. My Family moved to British Columbia in 1959 and Seattle, in 1961. I attended Mercer Island HS. I lettered in baseball and golf. I went on to the University of Washington, majoring in business and economics While at the U. I played baseball and I pitched a no hitter for the University of Washington Freshman team against Olympic Junior College of which I am very proud. I also worked my way through the U. working for Capitol Music as a shipping clerk. After graduation from the U I went into the Army. After receiving an honorable discharge. I went to work as a salesman and I learned very quickly that I wanted to do something important and lasting. I have always wanted my own business. I really knew no one to look to for help in this area. The idea of being a professional was appealing. I can't stand the sight of blood so lawyering was it. I worked two jobs in law school but still had to borrow money. It took seven years to pay off my student loans after graduation. I enjoyed two law partnerships and then in 1984 went out on my own and have been a sole practitioner since. I have enjoyed every minute of it and I especially enjoy doing good work for my clients. I have been very fortunate to love it after 40 years. I only wish I could go another 40.
